Founded in Melbourne in 2025, Sleepy Cat Media is run by Alex, creating thoughtful, story-driven imagery with clarity and intention.

With a background in circus, Alex began their journey in photography in 2020, developing a strong belief that photography is more than just an image, it’s a way to convey personality, emotion, and, most importantly, story.

​

Alongside their photographic work, Alex currently performs in the circus show Teasing Myths and values collaboration across creative disciplines.

​

Alex is passionate about meeting people from all backgrounds, identities, and creative perspectives. Creative collaboration is what inspired Alex to create Sleepy Cat Media and is what pushes Alex to continue exploring and creating work.
